Received yesterday and installed today. Excellent and very easy to install. Very happy with this purchase and fast delivery.
I installed this on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon. Very easy to install with just one person, took about 15 minutes. It is solid, sturdy and silent. It frees up room for tools, groceries, a cooler, etc underneath. The elastic netting is good quality with heavy-duty plastic clips, should be durable. BTW, I really appreciate their customer service. Thank you for their instruction and the replacement (a set of the hardware)
Love this thing. Got it today and installed in about 30 min by myself. Mount brackets weigh almost as much as the cargo rack :). Plenty of room underneath for 27 Gallon storage bins.
Its very heavy, super sturdy, and it looks great.
Update 1: summer months have come rolling in and the ultimate curiousity of soft top compatibilities have arised. First of all the rack is still pretty solid. I actually painted it with bedliner with the hopes of different elements, it wouldn't rust as quickly. Secondly, soft top woes. Unfortunately, if you are trying to flip your soft top down, it will not happen. The arms get blocked by the racks mounting bracket so a fully dropped top isn't really plausible (last photo attached). Unless you are like others that have a quick release and remove the top fully, this is something to take into consideration as a soft top owner. Lastly, the rack shifts and rattles. At the beginning it didn't rattle. However, from the constant rocking of the rack when enough pressure is placed on one side, I thought tightening the bolts would remedy that. So not only can it still rock with pressure but it now rattles. If they could utilize that third bolt, the item would be so stable you can put a seatbelt back there and call it the 3rd row.First impressions, I was going to give this 4 stars. Reasoning was that even though this time they gave instructions, they were not very clear from the photos. The cuffs to put around the roll bars were not labeled (because after a few test fits, I started to realize there was a certain orientation that they needed to be placed). It scuffed up my roll bar a lot. Also, the basket was a bit scratched up upon opening the box. However, I am giving this 5 stars because the product when put together exceeds my expectations. The build is solid, I like that it comes in black now instead of the silver cuffs, and honestly the customer service was excellent even without me reaching out to them! I was fortunate enough that I had the proper amount of hardware. But they ended up sending me spare hardware without me even reaching out to them ( I'm assuming they've gotten plenty of beef for missing hardware). Before installing I followed a few of the folks reviews. I did this on my own and took about an hour and a half. I was nervous in the beginning because I had not seen many reviews of the basket in a softop jeep. And because of that extra arm close to the roll bars, I was worried that I would have to install it pretty low. I was able to balance the basket on top of a 5 gallon bucket and two 2x4s. That gave me enough height and clearance. The basket does not rattle in my Jeep. I honestly keep forgetting it's back there. The only pet peeves I have is that if you put just enough pressure, the basket does rock. I'm going to have to figure that out because I swore I tightened everything properly. It could just be the bolt placements on the cuffs.
